Something For The Weekend - Music Video Adventures

For a couple of years I had been wanting to make a summertime video for one of my summer anthems. I had ideas of which friends I would rope in, but I found I just never had the time. I probably could have, but it was one of those things always at the bottom of my list.

Well, enter lockdown and the ample time to do pretty much what ever the hell I’d like.

This video took me 4 hours to shoot and edit together. I filmed it on instagram as whenever I filmed with my camera application, the music stopped playing which was a really annoying move on its behalf. That meant I had about 130 takes in all 15 seconds long to select from, crop, compose and then sync up to the music. Needless to say, I am very proud of this!
